GRCJ-the Recycled Glass Product

The Law Concerning the Promotion of Procurement of Eco-Friendly Goods (Law on Promoting Green Purchasing) came into force in April 2001. This law aims to encourage the Diet, ministries, government agencies, and other public bodies to purchase eco-friendly goods in order to minimize the burden on the environment. This law will change the fundamental structure of the supply chain, and create a demand for eco-friendly materials for public works from the very initial stage of the chain.
Public bodies are now compelled to purchase goods from an approved list of 101 products in 14 industry categories. Glass recycled tile is one of the approved items to be purchased for public construction works.
